Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-25

DSHToolkit is a static directory of DeepSeek Harness plugins. Most of what you do here involves no data leaving your browser at all. This page describes the few exceptions precisely, because vague privacy policies are worse than none.

The short version

  • No cookies are set by this site. Not for analytics, not for preferences, not for anything.
  • No advertising networks, no social media pixels, no third-party profiling.
  • No account, no login, no newsletter signup required to use anything here.
  • That is why you do not see a consent banner. There is nothing to consent to.

Analytics

We count pageviews using GoatCounter, a privacy-focused analytics service. It sets no cookies and stores no personal identifiers. Specifically:

  • What is recorded: the page path, the referrer, an approximate country, browser family, operating system, and screen size class.
  • IP addresses are used only to derive the country and to generate a rotating hash for de-duplication. The raw address is not stored.
  • No cross-site tracking. There is no identifier that follows you from another site to this one or back.
  • No individual profiles. The data is aggregate. We cannot look up what a specific person read.
  • Legal basis (for visitors in the EU/UK): legitimate interest in understanding aggregate usage of a free service. Because no personal data is stored and no cookies are used, this does not require consent under most readings of the ePrivacy Directive.

Outbound click counts

When you click a link that takes you to a plugin's GitHub repository, we record which plugin page the click came from. This is a counter increment, not a profile:

  • We store only a daily total per plugin slug, for example hits:2026-10-23:some-plugin.
  • No IP address, no user agent, no identifier is attached to it.
  • The totals are used to understand which plugins people actually visit, and to report aggregate numbers to prospective sponsors.
  • Individual click records are not retained. Only the per-day counter survives, for 400 days.

Sponsorship and email

If you contact us about sponsorship or submit a plugin, you send us email. That message and our reply are kept in an email account, which means Google's infrastructure holds them. We use it only to handle your request. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share the correspondence.

Payment for sponsorships is processed by PayPal. We never see your card details. PayPal's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

Server logs

This site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests on our behalf and its edge network logs include IP addresses, which Cloudflare retains for a short period for security and abuse prevention. We do not have direct access to those logs and do not export them. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

External links

Every plugin links out to a third-party repository, usually GitHub. Once you leave this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. Outbound links carry rel="noopener nofollow".

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data protection law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your personal data. In practice there is almost nothing to request: we hold no account records, no profiles, and no email list. If you have written to us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it.

Requests: [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.

Children

This site is aimed at software developers and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the nature of the change is described here. We do not make retroactive changes to how already-collected data is handled.
