The one thing that matters
routers overlap heavily; the choice is really about which providers you pay.

- you want a free or no-key model to test with
- you need per-task model selection instead of one global default
How this list was made
Stars come from the GitHub API at the last refresh (2026-10-25). Repositories are filtered to the Models & Routing category by a classifier that reads each project's description and topics. Nothing is ranked by payment; sponsored placements elsewhere on this site are always labelled and never appear in these lists.
Why stars and not downloads: no DSH plugin registry publishes install counts, so stars are the only cross-project number that exists. Treat the top three as "widely used" and everything below as "exists and is maintained" — not as a ranking of quality.
Before you install any of them
Read the plugin's own README for the exact export name and install command. This site links to the source repository for every entry and does not republish install instructions it cannot verify.
